Best area to rent an apartment in Dublin 6

Hi,

I'm currently looking to move from Dublin 1 to Dublin 6 (or somewhere close).
Can you please recommend a good, quiet, safe area with apartments?

What I care about is:
it would be nice if it was close to LUAS

not too far walking from Stephen's Green (approx. 20 minutes)

the apartments are of good standard (2-bed)

no drunks/scumbags in the area

a park nearby would be good as we have a 1 year old daughter

a creche nearby would be a plus

I would appreciate your recommendations.

I lived in Rathgar for the last two years and couldn't reccomend it enough. Its 10 minute walk to the Cowper LUAS stop, 10 buses into town, quiet respectable area! Wonderful place to live!
