    Hi.
Has anyone here travelled between Nice & San Sebastian?
Contemplating a trip later in the summer taking in Nice, San Sebastian & Madrid.
Am wondering what the options are for going from Nice to SB? I found info on a web page from a few years back which seemed to indicate that there are no direct links between the 2 via bus, rail or plane. This same site reckoned it would be about an 8 hour drive (and a 5 hour drive from SB onto Madrid).
Would this information still be correct today? Am finding it difficult to locate info on this.
    Cheers

Checked trains. For some reason any search I put in routes you via Paris!

I guess you could take a series of regional trains and get to Biarritz eventually and then there's probably trains running from there to San Sebastian (with yet another change).

There is a fairly decent road running along the south of France A8/A7 which runs along the coast (or near enough) then via Toulouse and then crosses the border on at the southwest corner of France. I think it's the euroroute E80, but you could google it to be sure. 8 hours sounds about right, but personally I'd break it. There are some nice places along the way!
