Always wandered what she saw in himself but know I can understand perfectly.
His odd off the ball, goofy remark must be the only thing that provides any entertainment on these state visits. The nervous anticipation of what will he say next probably helps keep her focused too.

Daily mail reports that Greek emigrants get free meal out of bailout money for corupt euro zone as Queen forced into library by Irish thugs

Where's Prince Phillip? They should just mike him and send him around the city on his own. :p

You just know he'd end up in a little pub somewhere bitching away with all these Dublin aul fellas and drunkenly telling MI5 to fuck off and offering them outside as they tried to drag him home at closing time.

Just back from the protest at Dorset street, riot police were out, and plenty of stuff being thrown, including fireworks of some kind. A fire was lit on the street too. Nothing that exciting all in all though, could've been worse.

The protestors didn't seem to realise the Queen was long gone from the Gardens of Remembrance and in Trinity already..

Putting up a youtube video at the minute, be up in a bit.

    Here's the video:

Of course, those supporting the visit were actively encouraged to line the streets...yet Dublin looks like a ghost town. Says it all really. No warm welcome here, just paid government lackeys and social "elite" licking their lips at the prospect of a slap up Dublin Castle meal at the expense of the tax payer. I'm sure these scenes will have tourists visiting Ireland in droves...

lol, bomb scares for the last 24 hours, fences blocking views, scum bags out making trouble.

let's be honest here the scumbag RA heads have scared everyone away.

They do, but my opinions are on here and not going to cause problems for anybody except people like you. They aren't going to hurt anybody, cause property damage, damage the reputation of the country etc.etc..

So it's better to just create a false image of a welcoming nation through all the barriers and closed streets for the media than show the world the real Ireland? No wonder people have fúcked up views of the world.

There's been bomb scares for the past few days...do you think this security operation was planned after these bomb scares? Or that they increased security massively in response? This scale of policing has been planned for months, long before hoax packages were being left beside train stations. So no, the "RA heads" haven't scared anybody off...nobody could be bothered being there, "let's be honest".

Yeah, as I said nothing much happened bar the fire and fireworks. Riot police showed up a few minutes later and kept things pretty controlled, a few minor scuffles, but I don't think there were enough protestors to cause much hassle.

No, it's better to grow the **** up and behave like adults. It's called shooting yourself in the foot to behave like morons in front of the World's media.

I believe your confusing 'supporting the visit' to not caring either way. Average joe in ireland has a job to go to and is too busy paying for their mortgage / food / kids and the dole of the idiots in their tracksuits to care who visits the country. Its called indifference, because most educated people can actually see that the in the scheme of things whinning over the past and trying to claw back a section of our island is not really a big concern in your day to day.

If it happens it will happen democratically and decided by the people who are living there.

So your warm welcome theory... well frankly its tripe.

They dunno what they're signing. They think they signed the visitor book, they dunno that they just signed the deed to the 6 counties back to us.
