Don't be so hard on the protesters, it's good to see them out of bed so early in the day.

Wonder if the methadone clinics were closed. That might explain why so many of them are looking grumpy.

Just had a quick look on the RTE website about the visit and saw the following sentence... 'Queen Elizabeth was president with flowers by eight year old Rachel Fox from Shankill in Dublin.' Thought I'd missed some key news story :p

It will be airbrushed and sanitised for the royalists to put in their scrapbooks. Joe Duffy fishing for compliments for Ireland from some Dublin one in England. Why the obsession with how we are thought of? There is such a sad inferiority complex raging still in this country.

Are you hoping that if you keep repeating this, it will be true?

The flag has the Sun newspaper logo on it-Don't tell them it's an English publication.
Clowns in tracksuits probably never read a history book in their lives but dance around shouting "burn the bitch". Morons.

He, (a) gets up out of bed to watch the live television coverage of the Queen's visit, (b) sprouts anti-visitation posts on this forum, possibly from his own cultural and historical perspective on Ireland, and yet cannot speak Irish as a gesture when requested, and (c) is now tuning into to a British media outlet to catch a glimpse of the visit.

All the while, people who have no problem with the visit and with respecting another head of state, and are actually more culturally, historically and linguistically knowledgeable than himself are not saying anything, and yet it is people like him - who don't have a clue effectively, who are jumping on the anti-visit bandwagon.

So back to "Burn everything british but their coal" is it? Brainless is the word for your post alright

So you don't see the hypocrisy in carrying signs saying "Brits out" wearing jerseys supporting British teams.

Those lads are an embarrassment to the Republican movement. Most are probably thugs hoping to chuck a brick at the Gardai.
