Took a stroll down and Eirigi appear to be protesting on Moore Street. Either that or some of the Irish underage Olympic teams are having a flash protest as it seems to be wall-to-wall tricolours and tracksuits.

Nothing on RTE about the protests. Typical state run spin

That's because nobody that matters gives a toss.

Cop on to yourself. No signs of the poster being upset, it was just a question

Fifty scangers hanging around O'Connell Street and throwing shapes isn't news, it's a normal Tuesday there.

    My radical proposal.

We shouldn't advocate the destruction of the UK royalty, we should do all we can that it gets expanded.

    How about 4 Queens?

Representing Scotland, Queen Liz, representing Wales, Queen of Hearts, Diana (deceased), Queen of England, Kate Middleton (new entry (oooh!)), & last but not least, representing Ireland, Queen David (does my bum look big in this? yes yes yes) Knorr (named changed from Norris to Knorr to look a little more German so he might fit in).

Yes. This is my sole contribution to this whole thread. Yes, that's a promise.

what the ****? why whats with the violence against an 85 yr old?!?!

    same thinking that killed Mountbatten

    Fight the elderly!!!

i did not say it SHOULD happen i was asking the question will it, big big difference

and it has happened that soldiers have clocked visiting heads of state ( not in ireland i stress ) but does happen

i dont condone violence against anyone - except bertie and brian maybe

Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdon of Great Britain and Northern Ireland funnily enough.

Ah unless that your point, in which case France is Britains nearest neighbour.

Well I just meant that the Republic borders with the U.K :)

Nah, its just that some people might think he was implying Northern Ireland was literally Britain

I think they intend on going to the place on Moore Street where the 1916 leaders had their last stand when The Queen is going to the garden of rememberance.

The FA should have scheduled a Man Utd v Liverpool game for this afternoon. There would be nothing but tumbleweed at the agreed meeting places for these protests.

That's a nail on the head post right there.

And then a dignified procession onto Champions Sports to smash the window in and grab some Air Max.

I think that it is great day to be Irish! Our country looks beautiful and our DF have done us proud. The coverage we are getting on other news networks is very postive. It is a welcome break from all the misery.

    ah good ol RTE.

NO footage, just a journos version of events in relation to the protests which is par the course when RTE dont want to cover something.

man isnt it great to get such value from your TV liscence ?
