    Yet the saps that run this place thought it was a good idea to blow 22 million (and the cost is much higher than that I would say) so we could make the international headlines for bombs. I'm sure the tourism payoff will be only massive

    The full meaning of the Monarchy is, like the Queen herself, a complete mystery to most people.     You won't be able to.

    The Queen also has the power to give back the six counties to the Irish people, allowing Ireland to be a nation once again. The fact that she has not done so is Fascism in full flow. What else could it be? Name one other European country that is controlled by its neighbour?

    I find it uneasy that the UK national anthem is "God Save the Queen". What is she gonna sing, "God Save Me"?
    And another thing, RTE say the anthem is gonna be on soon - who's gonna sing God Save the Queen? And won't they look like planks singing for God to save a foreign woman who has nothing to do with them?

    The UK is pretty skint alrigh - may not be 'Irish' skint but they certainly have their own financial troubles.
