Haters are always gonna hate to be honest.

Have you just arrogantly ignored what I said to get a cheap shot in?
I am saying that there is huge amount of people who have never lifted a hand in anger or hate who will be inwardly sad today. This visit is premature, James Connolly said the following on the occasion of the visit of George
    “His blood
Has crept through scoundrels since the flood.
    We will not blame him for the crimes of his ancestors if he relinquishes the royal rights of his ancestors;

but as long as he claims their rights, by virtue of descent,

    then, by virtue of descent,
he must shoulder the responsibility for their crimes.'

Has the present monarch shouldered that responsibility yet? Evidently not, if she had we would have full disclosure of their part in our affairs. For that reason, this is a sad day and a day to be ashamed.

The only reason this is a sad day is because of the backward troglodytes who are trying to disrupt the whole thing. You have no support other than in your own little ignorant community of "republican" morons.

Just go away. Your time is over and no one cares.

I felt embarrassed to be an Irishman watching Sky News reporting bombs and watching that backward gob****e who was speaking on behalf of Eirigi:mad:

Last time I checked, this was a free country where if people deign to protest against the colour of the sky, the are perfectly entitled to do so.

Does nothing in what Connolly had to say have any purchase with you? If you can't identify with what he said, Can you at least try and see how it would be important to anybody calling themselves a republican? Set your hatred aside for a minute and try. It may be a moment of enlightenment for you.

I love that the pro-Queenie crew all try and paint the anti-Queenie posse as "backward" or "stupid"

    Quite revealing.

To be honest I find her visit mind numbingly embarrassing on so many levels.

The fawning, the flag waving, the security presence, the media coverage but most of all the sweeping under the carpet that anyone that doesnt want her here has a valid gripe!

    God bless the Queen!

They'll look like twits, but they're entitled to do so.

They're not, however, entitled to intimidate and threaten other people, who have rights regarding not being murdered or blown up.

You do realise people look at these views the same way they look at the westboro baptist church.

Nope. Completely irrelevant to my life. It's 2011, i care little for what some ancient corpse had to say.

Grow up, move on, live your life without worrying about what somebody living in an entirely different era said,

By 'take care', I of course mean spa treatments.

oh, i thought you ment that in an Al Pacino sort of way!

If you think Irish people see James Connolly in the same light as Fred Phelps you are completely out of touch with the beliefs of Irish people. To be honest, comparing the two is an insult to Ireland and the Irish.

Says he, who venerates the current head of a medieval monarchy. :D
