Norris's Bar down the back would be perfect for 20 - 30 people

    The Wander Inn

+1. City centre and will hold 30 comfortably.

The Roanmore Centre would in my view be too large for
a small group of 20/30 people.

I would suggest The Ramada Hotel. They have a number of
small rooms on the left as you walk in to the building.
On the level & ample room for cars!

I was at a 60th birthday in the Tower Hotel a few years ago, they hired out a small room there, cant have been more than 30 of us there so it was perfect.

All the food was brought in and it even had a small bar in the corner, cant remember if there was any stairs but it was on the ground floor.

Try the lounge in Downes, Thomas St. It'll work well with 30 people. Dedicated bar.

    conversation was

Danny dyer lookalike : On its way.
    Me: Thanks
    Danny dyer lookalike: no problems.

The bar in the waterford crystal sports centre holds up to 50 people, with the function hall holds up to 150,

if it's Danny Dyer in his Football Factory role then I don't think so :p
My only dealings with the chap are that he invited a mate of mine from up the country to perform there with support, my mate left to drive 4 hours to get here, at some point the support cancelled, my mate arrived into the pub and was informed that the gig had been cancelled. Tom didn't even offer him a pint by way of sorry. A cheap and mean way to treat a visitor to Waterford.
