    It was featured on six one news.

    Showed NCT failure magically changed to pass for €200 bribe.

    Delighted to see they are highlighting the scam and exposing it for the money grabbing extortion it is and putting to bed any argument that concerns safety in any way.

    As usual RTE advertising their own programmes on their own programmes :mad:

    Should be worth a look in, I think Frontline is picking up the story afterwards.

    That might help explain how the car I bought privately earlier this year passed its last two NCTs with CO emissions EXACTLY on the limit, where it failed when I brought it in...

    Id say the Nct being up would be minor enough in comparison with taxis ferrying Drugs around town and futher afield ,to keep up their mortage repayments up, and taxis soley set up for that purpose ,Hide the stach in the car,make like your pickin up a regular fare transaction done in the Taxi guy gets out

    In fairness you'd have your work cut out to find a professional driver with two full time driving jobs. The program seems no way racist to me.

    sorry if it sounds like a silly question, they mentioned the wtd but i think that uses averages over weeks,
    not a chance tachos would work in taxis, it dosent work with irish trucks:)

    not laws as such
    - employees of Dublin Bus are not permitted to drive for 3rd parties or for themselves
    - try and get a PSC when you have a fulltime job with Dublin Bus ;) I can only imagine there is something interesting going on there
    - I'd love to see his tax returns for the taxi

    Wonder what percentage of our drivers are black.
