    like No politics.

    Well, why not?

It's a unique event in our lifetime. Why can't provisions be made for Boards largest forum?

Be some laugh if she pulled a 'sickie' in the morning :pac:

I'd say the highlight of her visit will be The National Stud

I wouldn't think she has much choice, it's down to the govt and royal advisors who plan these things, afaik.

I don't care about politics, and care less about the Queen's visit (I am currently ensconsed in the Netherlands), but given the nature of the event it's natural that people will want to discuss the event and the a little of the histroy surrounding it.

Why put a straitjacket on it here?

we have discussed it to death, we are sick of talking about it.

Strolled over to Daily Mail to get the strong views from another side

And I thought After Hours was full of rage

Well I'm not going to start quoting comments but here was one of the most memorable
If the Southern Irish hate us so much, why do they come over here to work and accept £Billions in aid from the UK, I agree that if the threat is so high, cancel and claw back our loans and repatriate the Southern Irish contingent, that would allow thousands of Brits to get a job and consider the savings on Social services. God Bless the Queen and the UK

I like reading opposing views but I don't like ignorance and comments on the "potato famine"

Sorry everyone for quoting the DM, just thought I'd share. It's what some think

The DM faithful are borderline loons and racists, you can't take them too seriously. I'm not saying that there aren't people like that here in the UK - there are, I've met a few of them but they are in a very vocal minority. Thankfully!

Hate is hate. Whether they are RA heads, UDA, far-right nationalists, whatever. They are all the same and can all piss off and stop trying to represent the country they live in with their hateful bile-filled messages.

But the UDA were invited to hold hands with the Queen and our President?
