People don't hate the average Israeli, but the Israeli government is really showing themselves in a bad light with regards to their handling of the Palestinian situation, alot of the western media are picking up on it now, and I think alot of western leaders are seeing the Israel as a bit of a liability at this stage.

I quite agree. We should cease all trade and diplomatic relations with Israel entirely. We should also more vigorously pursue breaches by Israel of Irish law, to ensure that nobody can accuse us of bias. I take it you posted criticism on those topics then? Right? Be a bit hypocritical to complain about others not posting criticism on those topics (btw I am pretty sure the people you claimed didn't post on those topics probably did). Any chance on posting to a link, where you posted criticism on this forum on Libya for example (or Bahrain or Syria), seeing as you are intent on your whataboutry line of thinking.
