Edit: Never mind. I reflashed stock 2.2.1 and then set up CWM again and it worked.

I want to restore a nandroid backup via clockworkmod, but I keep getting the errors:
    E:format_volume failed to unmount "/system"
    Error while formatting /system!
When I try to only unmount /system via the option available in CWM, I get the error:
    Error unmounting /system!
while being able to unmount /cache, /data, etc.

Anyone happen to know how I can properly unmount /system?

I have the same exact problem, error unmounting /system... I have to flash a JVB backup so I need Gingerbread bootloaders, but I heard that Froyo works with them... maybe this time I'll get there.
