I think if you buy in the Nespresso bar in Brown Thomas you get the 50 quid off straight away with no waiting around for cashback.

I got mine a few months ago and even though I hate myself for it I love the thing. Had to ban it after 6pm or I wouldn't sleep (well ban the caffeinated pods anyway).

I bought one of them this time last year. Combined that offer with Debenhams 25% and ended up getting the basis machine for less than half-price.

One thing to watch is that the refund cheques were in euro but drawn on a UK bank which meant that my own bank took a nice slice of commission. A quick email to Nespresso resulted in them giving me credit on my account.

I know Harvey Norman are doing a 50 euro accessories voucher through Nespresso at the moment but does that apply to all machines bought?

Bloody hope so. I bought one last week. Mind you I got it from Amazon for €60 less than I could find it here.

you'll not be sorry - I love mine, use it every day... if I was buying one again i'd probably get one with a milk frother, i wouldn't use the frother myself but it's handy because others always ask for coffee that needs frothing lol

We have had our nespresso machine for a couple of years now and still absolutely love it. The milk frother is great too as we love Lattes.
But the capsules are expensive...very expensive.

However, Sara lee are selling cheaper compatible capsules (L'OR EspressO) in France and Netherlands thru their Douwe Egberts stores. I have not tried these but am in Amsterdam next week and will buy some. Hopefully they will work out!
I am guessing that it is only a matter of time before they are available here?

Stick a mug with 1inch of milk in the microwave for a minute while the Nespresso machine is heating up, and then put in the coffee..

Café con leche without the Ryanair baggage charge.

I got a Citiz (sp?). €140 from Amazon. Great little machine. Small form factor and sits in beside my kettle and toaster.

100/50! That's not bad is it?! Looks pretty small though... Does anyone one of these? Can you put a normal sized mug in there and make a Café con leche a lá Trotter>

most of the machines do the exact same thing.. what you are getting for your extra 40 euro is a little more room to put a cup under and a slightly more stylish design...

I have the one above, you are right, sometimes it is a little hard to get a full size mug but what I normally do is make the espresso in my nespresso cup and pour it into a larger glass to make a latte...

I have this one.. Nespresso Krups Citiz

The fold up tray brings espresso cups closer to the spout. Once I fold that away, I can fit any mug on the base tray.

:DSaw these coffee machines in Kildare village and they have the €50 back until the end of May. They said that they will probably have 15% off for the bank holiday weekend which seems like an excellent deal!

Be careful i got one and threw the box away and the code you need is on the box never got my €50 back after numerous emails feckers:mad: might try that ebay link and make my own

The SN is also printed on the underside of the machine (is on my CitiZ anyway).
