A lift Galway Dublin airport Friday 20th May?

Hey

Not sure if this is in the right place!

Really need a lift from Galway race course to Dublin airport next Friday 20th May.

Got exam on at 2.30 til 4 need to be in airport at 18.30- No buses seem to make it at that time that I could make!

If anyones headin that way, il pay for petrol and tolls if you can give me a lift!

You could fly from Galway Airport (only 3km from Racecourse) at 17.10 with www.aerarann.com and arrive in Dublin Airport at 18.05 for around €40 one-way.

Thats probably the best bet, if you floor it would take you around an hour twenty/thirty to dublin city and then traffic will kill you.

Yea, the flight is your best bet, if you have an onward flight be sure to bring proof of that and they will allow you the luggage allowance for that flight:)

OP traffic disruption due to the roadworks in Athlone could make a nervous journey if you are travelling by car

over 200ks in an hour and twenty/thirty, thats an average of 135kpm the whole way, taking the following into account you would need to doing 200kph plus at every available opportunity:
-Athlone delays,
-Slowing for 2 tolls,
-M50 - 100kph limits
-N4 - 80 & 60kph limits
-Friday rush hour traffic in Dublin(N4 all the way to the airport)
