Found these guys on another forum, looked them up on youtube, they are pretty sweet.

From the looks of their myspace, they are touring with MGMT.

    Any fans?

Yeah, they're pretty cool. Looking forward to their gig here soon, should be face melting.

Whens that on? I must have missed it on their mySpace!?

Yup they're the business. Although I think Oliver's former band 'Skywave' were a bit better.

The gig is on - 3rd Dec.- in the Andrews Lane theatre? Is that the place that used to have the puppet shows? I don't think MGMT are supporting them in Dublin.

Their song 'Truth Hurts' is amazing - it's available to listen to here: http://hypem.com/track/644383/The+December+Sound-Truth+Hurts

They've also, and more importantly, been on the road with Nine Inch Nails. Excellent modern-day shoegaze. The walls are immense.

Was going to post a new thread on them but I found this.

Love this band. They're a real call back to 80's pop, but they mix it with noise rock and a bit of shoegaze. I suppose a bit like HEALTH in a way. Great sound.

YES! Was about to add a link to I Know I'll See You myself, first song of theirs I heard. Love their sound, really nice Jesus and Mary Chain vibe off it I think!

I love both of their albums, they're both nice and abrasive and darkly atmospheric in places too. They have a heavy Jesus & Mary Chain and Telescopes influence.

    This song is freakin awesome:

And for those of you who haven't already, you should check out frontman Oliver Ackermann's previous band Skywave, where he was the bass player. These guys had a similar sound and were just as awesome.
