steyre ssg 69 308 sale or swap

    hi im looking to change my ssg 69 for something lighter for mountain stalking the ssg s a super rifle and never lets me down but just to heavy to manage when trying to drag a deer off the mountain and a lot of the time over long distances if any one out there would be interested in a swap for something down the lines of a styer pro hunter mk11, tikka t3 or sako whice all woud have to be 308cal. and syntetic stock , rifle in top condtion 1/2 inch muzzle thread ,30mm mounts,

    terrific rifle, you could just re barrel with a light stalker profile barrel, then you would get to keep that great action..& swap back the heavy barrel when the deer season is over.

    Yeah, They are cryo fitted to the receiver. It takes a fair amount of pressure to release them.

    yes great rifle and pleasure to fire but not so forgiving after a kill and a long drag ahead of you. have being pondering about chaging it for a while now but just have to be real about it and get something more suitable for mountins thanks for advice.
