I am heading to canada with friends for 2 weeks and have provisionally booked a room in a hotel.I have been offered free accom for my trip to canada now but if i cancel my booking in a hotel with my 2 friends they might have to pay more for the hotel room.

I wont accept the offer if it means that the friends will have to pay for more.

Has anyone ever been in this situation where they cancel their individual booking but their friends stay on with the booking. Do they have to pay more after u cancel.

    Please help

You'll have to contact the hotel and ask them what their policy is. It depends on what kind of room you booked and what else is available. I don't think anyone can give you specific advise, it's very much dependent on your hotel.
