    It's not. That's the point

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

I would really like it if AH was politics free. No political discussions at all. Pleeeeease!!!

Mods can't ban other co mods. I tired to ban Super Rush a few weeks ago, he hit the bottle again and was posting some proper shit, All I could do was follow him around and delete his posts as he made them.

Wow, sounds like fun ...

    Ban political correct terms/statements/titles.

They're boring and everyone knows what we are really thinking so just fukcing say it. We're grown ups and we can deal with offensive terms.

    Maybe a butter thread?

Would a butter thread be better than most toast threads?

Or maybe we should go for a most bettered buttered toasted brown bread thread with a hosted mod at the head?

Anyways, more fun less serious please.

Reposts. If you post something which has been posted before, you get banned for an hour. Do it again, and it's 4 hours, then 8 etc. Like /r9k/. That'd sort out loadsa people's problems.

People who italicise certain words in their posts for emphasis. Don't do that, we don't need read in the same cadence you speak.

Are you sure of that? I mean, Are you really sure that every instance of italicisation is unjustified?

People who bitch and moan about the thanks function (apart from when it's obviously being used to take a dig at others/for circle-jerking) and have it in their head there's "thanks-whoring" yet still use it and don't object to their own posts being thanked. A (perceived) smart-arse reply on AH was the norm LONG before the thanks function.

Otherwise, the usual tard phrases like "west Brit", "PC" "PC brigade", "bleeding heart", "do-gooder", "liberal" as a perjorative etc. I'm embarrassed for most people who use those expressions and can't see how stupid they look (some of them have their place in certain contexts, but the vast majority of the time, they're used incorrectly here).

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 44,079 ✭✭✭✭Micky Dolenz

Do you actually get embarrassed by that, really?
