I fancy doing a placepot tomorrow (thursday) at Punchestown

anybody have any likings that I should consider!?

im going to do 2 or 3 horses in each race

After todays results I'd be wary of wasting even a fiver!

Okay I've had a look and here are my picks (and this means I now have to do a place pot tomorrow!) Is it the first 6 races only? (I think so)

got all my selections placed

as you know, garde champetre was withdrawn after the first race on vetinary advice

so i asked the tote people what this meant for my place pot, since i have got 2 up in the previous races

i was informed that i could not change my selection, but that it would automatically change to the SP favourite

so i was happy enough with that. i looked at the odds just before the off and the SP fav was Heads on the Grounds. So i was having a great time roaring Nina home, safe in the knowledge that i chalked up another place

the days went on, i chalked up 3 more places and what i thought was a share of the placepot

eh no

seems at the last minute, the pool was flooded and outlaw pete was the SP fav

not happy

although i did see a man collect near 5000 grand of a .50c jackpot bet. noice!
