itchy pubic hair

going anonymous with this lately i have noticed my pubic hair has been quite irritated at the roots, gently pulling on it gives that sort of "nice pain" which sort of relieves it. i tried trimming them earlier to a short ish length and the irritation is sort of gone but they have got a bit itchy. any thoughts on how to…
