I've got a Humax HDR and now picking up C4HD. But compared to other channels it takes over a second to change channel when I push the button. All others change almost immediately. I've done a reboot just in case it's something odd my end, but still the same. Just wondered if anyone else has noticed this? And know why :D

I have channel4HD on my skyHD box i use for freesat and then my irish skyHD doesnt have it or cant tune it in. So is it just a limitation on how you can tune in other channels?

I quote from avforums....a response to a thread I posted about my freesat Channel 4HD signal quality being 50% that of the other freesat HD channels:
Channel 4HD is on Eurobird at 28.5 East and most other freesat channels are on Astra 2 at 28.2 East. There is also a difference in the skew required on the lnb for the two satellites. Correct alignment is a compromise between the two satellites both in direction and skew.

The same facts could explain why you are experiencing a slight delay with the Humax finding the channel.
