Anyone know what weight shot put is used for under 12's
and where i'd get one.

2kg for both boys and girls.

most mainstream sports suppliers don't have 2kgs, even if they do stock heavier shots (in my experience)

you should be able to get one from Loki Sports, based in Dublin.
I don't have current contact details.

You could try your local club to see if they can give you the name of a local supplier they use for throwing and see if they can supply a 2kg.
