Tesco are doing 12 Tuborg for a tenner now!!
Kerpaki comes 4 for a fiver, Dutch is about €6.50-7 for 6 cans and Bavaria is about €7 or €8 I think for 6.

    And yes, they're all lager.
And yes, tuborg will always be the winner

I think that's what it's called. Tastes like crap on it's own, but throw some 7up in and you'll be off your head in no time.

It was my beer of choice back in the day
I honestly don't see the big problem with it, it's not all that unlike Heineken and is definitely nicer than cans of Miller or Bud

Is there anywhere you can get Dutch Gold on Draught?

I was in The Glimmerman on Manor St the other day. They had pints of Tuborg for €3.40. Not bad

Pitchers of Bavaria in my local for 10e, be falling home after 30e.

right job, and I seen a few "connoisseurs" of beer belting pitchers into them so it mustn't be that bad.

At least 3 pubs in Galway used to do pitchers of Bavaria for a fiver. 2.5/3 pints per pitcher, it was awesome!

Karpacki is good value. Doesn't taste "too bad" and gets to work fairly quick :p

You should try Druids 8 cans for a tenner and its 6%. Nicer than Bulmers too.

Feck Ducthgold, get yourself to Lidl & get some proper pills into you.

You can get 6 pint bottles of perlenbacher for €6.

5.9% too & its delish. Better than half the piss they sell here.
Three factual inaccuracies with your post

    a - it's 500ml , not 568ml
    b - it's a tad over €6 (6.20/ 6.40 or something)
    c - it's 4.9%

Every so often they have at €4 something and then it tastes even better :)

I love dutch, was snobby about it when I was working but since being made redundant now Ive grown to love it, same as Bavaria.

Once you tackle the first two cans there is no difference at all.

Well yeah, that's cos it kills all your taste buds!!!

    Aldi had "Galahad" "Premium" lager

    3.9%

    12x500ml = €7.99 ( 67c per can / 77c a pint / €1.33 a L €6.06 per imperial gallon) (works out 99c to give you the same alcohol content as a pint of 5%)

In fairness you can get nice stuff in Fidl fare cheap these days, there should be no excuse to drink Dutch Gold. None.

i am having a Bavaria now and I have notice that too has gone downhill in recent times. Or maybe my tastes have become more refined since I started the approach to 30.....

    And karpackie = depression
