thank jaysis we have a decent thread title.

    Well played.

We gonna lose only hope i have is what Mahon said our kids gonna play a part.

    kdjacDreamers75: Tip for the future

Jake Carroll our young left back. I would say its rare i get impressed with a player in the LOI but **** me this lad is gold. Only a nipper and everytime i see him i get more and more impressed. Left back with ability, touch, pace, skill and touch.

Hopefully he end out in england, hate to see him to go Rovers and suffer the Stevens syndrome i was convinced he was good enough for england, now jaysis what did they do to him.

oh drogs to win AGAIN! prolly last minute winner too.

    Quality title.

Shels to play a blinder against a well rattled Harps team. And you've got to believe that dreamers was drunk when he made that post. That or I'm too drunk to make sense of it.

Missing my first Reds match of the season (poxy work), hopefully a decent win for ourselves, cement us back on top.

Keep him out of the pub, give him full time football and get him into the Irish U21 squad?

Galway is always a great trip

(a regular source of three points recently too. Hopefully that can continue)

Home to Derry and then Bray on Monday. Optimistically, I'd say 4 points between the two of them.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Hoping for 4 points after two away trips. How have Dundalk looked this season?

Anything but a repeat of the last time I was up in Oriel plz.

    A bit like your username.

We're excellent in some games and rubbish in others. We are very weak in the centre of Midfield (missing first three choices). Should have too much for Bray but I think we'll lose to Rovers. We haven't the squad size to deal with injuries.

    Rovers are full time now?
    :pac:

He should be in england by now.

And I'm sure he will go when the offer is right. The difference is that with the setup he is involved in and the wages he is earning he is not in the rush to move he would have been if he was at Pats. He has a buy out clause and will go if the move suits him

I'm actually bewildered that you would imply his career has regressed moving to Rovers, even as a wind up. He is 20 ffs.

At least Pats got a adequate replacement for the club Christmas party at full back fro us.

He was an attacking fullback for us and excelled in Europe, rarely in his own half. Now its quite the opposite. If we playing rovers i wouldnt fear Stevens.

You generally aren't supposed to 'fear' opposition fullbacks....

What you are saying is that he now plays in a disciplined system and is part of a defence that has conceded 4 goals in 8 so far this season. And this is bad?

He moved to a bigger and better club and will move on again when the time is right. Deal with it.

Its a nice little personification of the two clubs and where they are going.

    Two talented players.

One has ambition to play at the very top, wants to learn from an experienced manager who has played in the EPL, the SPL and MLS and was an international player in a full time environment.

One has ambition to have enough money for a bag of cans so he can stand in a field with his mates 5 nights a week.

One plays for Pats. One plays for Rovers. Nuff said.

In fairness, playing a slightly different role dioesn't make him less of a player. I can see him getting the magic airplane too but he's on a 2 year contract and we've got cover there so win-win.

Might take a wander down to UCD tonight.

Hopefully Longford can keep the good run going tomorrow night and put a few goals past Salthill.. or one!

Good start to the Galway Shams game. Shams 1 up,nearly got a second there, only seven minutes gone.

Strange decision to disallow that. Rovers should have this sewn up already

Great build up play there. Shame it was offside.

Was the goal any good? I missed it.

Yeah it was a good header.

Sickening that it was Sheppard though...

Some seriously terrible calls. He's got pretty much every big decision wrong.

Ricer's card was very soft. Needs to take it handy in the second half with O'Donnell and Turner still out.
