Double-Headed Tulip in my garden! -photo included

    I found a doubleheaded tulip in my garden growing from a single stem. Has anyone found one of these in their garden before? Not sure how rare it is.

    Tulips do tend to be a bit susceptible to doing odd things. You can buy 'spray' tulips - with two or three flowers to a stalk, but they tend to revert to single within a couple of years.

    Yes happens from time to time. You get the same in Daffodils too.

    We have some in our garden, three to be exact.
    They're crazy tulips, so tall, unfortunately the wind we've had in the west has knocked them around a little!
