use sky box for uk fta

have done this in the past but can't remember the procedure! simply, bought a sky didgbox(non +) that i want to use as in a bedroom for uk fta but it still comes up with the irish epg. i know i have to go into an installers area in 'services' but cant remember what to do. help!

Have you removed the old viewing card ? If not power down the box, remove the card and power it back up.

yeah viewing card gone. tried unplugging it at the rear thenpowering it back up while holding the 'back up' button also. thanks for the speedy reply!

you could try rebuilding the epg/planner - http://www.sky.com/helpcentre/tv/sky-plus/recording/guide-to-performing-a-planner-rebuild/

It should work when unplugging mains completely. Leave unpowered for a few seconds. No need to press backup button.
