Miele Dishwasher no water intact

I have a 10 year old miele dishwasher that isn't taking in water . Have replaced the float switch but still no joy. Begining to think it could be the water inlet value not energising but question is now a) Is it worth repairing Miele charge 120 euro call out Plus parts . or should I just buy a cheap replacement ? Anyone know expected life of a miele dishwasher - normal domestic use (on once a day usually )

why did you replace a float switch ? check the solenoid with a multimeter
