my OH and I are planning (if we ever get engaged) to tie the knot in Italy. We want to give our guests something to remember and we also want to get rid of having to have loads of people at our wedding who we dont even see. as long as our parents, siblings and really close friends are there we'll be very happy. This amounts to about 30 people. We're going to rent out some villas to help people out with accom if they want it for the days of the wedding celebration. it's going to be great and about the same price as a fairly average wedding in Ireland of which I have worked hundreds and will never ever get married in an Irish hotel. Talk about a conveyor belt throughout the summer!

:D I'm not a long engagement sort of girl. 18 months to two years is the longest I would be prepared to wait...he's well aware of that so I'd say he's waiting till I have my Ph. D and can afford it!

Doesn't mean I cant dream though!
