Havent a clue tbh, I just remember seeing someone post a picture on the MIA facebook page saying he got them from there. But if places are looking for mad money for them id rather just buy normal high caps and suffer with the winding

hmm.I might pick up 1 or 2...normally a midcap man myself as I detest having to constantly wind up mags plus I like the added realism of having change mags during a skirmish..
but I haven't been oiling my pmags and now I'm starting to pay for that so need new mags.

I registered just to make this post. Am I reading this right? Somebody is making a railed handguard that's the same length as the polymer handguard? Sorta like this here from Transformers 3? If it works with the real Bushmaster ACR, sign me up! I've been wanting a rail like this for my gun.

Yip - not making, they've made it. I've only seen the tan/dark earth version available, but it's for sale on ehobby and red wolf airsoft at the moment.
The rail set is slightly shorter than the polymer handguard (it stops just behind the gas block on a normal length barrel) but yeah, it's pretty much as per your photo above (only tan)

Do you have a link? I couldn't find it on Red Wolf's site. All I see are the regular length railed handguards that terminate at the end of the top rail. I was hoping for a handguard that extended the top rail as well, like in the picture I posted.

Can't understand why people are giving out about using this thread for the masada discussion as well..
I can't see the point of starting a new thread for the "pimp my masada" etc..
I'm more inclined to think that if I see a thread called "masada review" etc then these guys know what they're calling about plus they've had time to get any upgrades etc.

No disrespect dude, but the only upgrade bits I was interested in were the internal mods that some people were making - lately it's been necessary to wade through pages of comments about 'what front end grip best describes me as a person?' type stuff - but to each their own.

I guess by now most of the mod options that people were coming up with have all been posted up, so mission accomplished - have at it.

But then again if someone was doing a "pimp my gun" thread wouldn't the internal modders not post in that thread instead thus negating the point of it?

That's just a standard length ACR rail. Nothing special about it length wise. I was hoping there was a rail that was as long as a standard length handguard that extended the top rail. I guess there isn't.

Hi Guys

Well I ordered one of the Wii Tech hop units and air nozzles of eBay.
I ordered it on the night of the 14th and it was on my doorstep on the morning of the 21st. Very decent delivery time.

The unit and nozzle are very nicely made and well packaged.

First off I put the original spring back in.
Madbull python tightbore fitted with Guarder clear hop rubber and a hard plastic H nub. The Masada was firing at 1.07j with .25's.

I fitted the new hop unit, this fitted very easily, a perfect fit.
I then test fired it and it was firing at 1.08j.

I then opened the gearbox and fitted the supplied metal air nozzle.
Just to mention I also fitted a set of Kanzen 8mm bearings.

I test fired it with the new air nozzle and have to set the air seal is damn near perfect. It went up to 1.37j.
I honestly couldn't believe the rise in fps.

All in all I am very pleased with the kit.
Sorry for no photos but time was limited for doing the work.

Just to mention the Masada is now shooting at .98joule.

Would you mind posting an installation guide when you get pictures up? I lan on picking this unit up, but am a little apprehensive about ripping out the hop-up without some idea of what I'm doing.

i was at senny this wkend and was using the masada and have to say wit the work done on the gun it is a bleedin animal. very happy wit the gun now. big smile on my face at 3am defending a building firing out tracer rounds at attackers. savage.

but now ive just gone and ordered dat hop up chamber, i have to stop:o. the quick change spring is perfect for goin abroad had her shooting at 346fps and before i left to come home changed her back to 315fps.
