Car battery going flat.

    Hi there.
    My car battery tens to flatten in about two days when the car is parked up. I've discovered that there's 0.4 Amps flowing in the circuit with the engine off, and have removed all fuses, and relays one by one, but none of these revealed the source of the draw on current. The only way I can prevent the battery flattening at the moment is to disconnect the positive terminal. With the engine running though, the battery is charging up as normal, and I have already checked the system with other known good batteries. Any ideas there guys??

    Check your boot light isnt sticking on etc

    It's possible the alternator might be drawing back from the battery when the engine is not running. Only way to find that out is to disconnect the wires from it, and see if the current is still being drawn from the battery.

    What about car alarm? computer? bluetooth device? radio? (long shot i know with all fuses/relays out). Any chance you can take the battery out and leave it overnight and measure the voltage 24hrs later.
    When my battery begins to act up, the first thing I do is try and charge it and see if all the lead plates are gassing (just be careful of the acid!!). Chances are one of the plates isn't gassing as well as the other five.
