I was at westwood in clontarf and saw lads training muay thai. Looked like a good sparring session. I assumed it was a class but rang to enquire today and they said that it was not a class just a few lads who got together to spar. Anyone know who trains there?

    thanks DTB,
I used to do a bit of boxing where we always did loads of sparring.
Any muay thai classes I have gone to always do loads of pad/bag work but no sparring for relative beginners.
I realise you need to know the basics and I feel I do now but I think
there is no better way to learn than to spar even if it means getting beat up a lot at the start!

    Hi DTB

Just wondering about the price,is it 8euro for a class or for the whole night? Can you do the beginner ,as a warm up and then do the advanced class for 8 euro?
Ive done a bit before and would be interested in dropping down.

    Cheers
