Anyone else just feel the ground shake?

A few minutes ago I was sitting here, in a quiet room with just the laptop on and felt a judder, and heard a rumbling too. It's the second time in a couple of months.

Just went out on the street and one of my neighbours, 4 doors up felt it too. Oddly though, another didn't, although he was working in the garden at the time.

Anyone else round me feel this? Was it a tiny earthquake or is someone building something near me that I don't know about?

/huddles in corner to await 2012

Nope, I'm in a quiet estate full of semi-d's in Malahide. No industrial buildings for a mile or more.

    Any quarries nearby?

    Maybe there's a quarry nearby?
Used to work in Citywest, about a mile and a bit from the roadstone quarry in southwest Tallaght, as the crow flies.
Every friday at 2:30 exactly, whole building would shake. Detonating explosives in the quarry. Just a suggestion...

"A man drove up to Swords Garda Station at around 2.30pm and told gardaí there was a suspicious object under his car"

Ok If I taught there was a bomb under my car I would hardly start it up and drive off to the Garda Station.

You weren't in Trim when it happened were you? Apparently "someone" tried to blow up the statue of that well known british terrorist, wellington, last night.

    Big truck rumbling by?

There was another earthquake in Japan but not as big as last time.

Concorde going supersonic too close to land shook the earth a bit.

Considering the concorde doesn't fly anymore, that would be some achievement.
