Where bouts did you guys get the madbull blue rubber. Would be interested in trying that out myself.

Plus, just for the sh*ts and giggles, I would love to put the 17.5 inch barrel in along with the biggest silencer I could find.

Small guy + extra long rif. lol.

the Guarder Clear is just as good

while the internals are good a few small improvements can be made a tight bore and softer bucking being the most cost effective

Experience would make me disagree 100% - having tried a Guarder Clear and having it fail completely in my Magpul made me realise it was too hard for the nub to push in so i moved over to the ASG 50degrees hop rubber along with a bit of mod-ding on the tightbore itself and have never looked back - defo would not use the Guarder Clear. Also experience is now telling me there are many better rubbers out there other than the Clear - it's amazing how many people blindly follow the trend with out testing these things themselves! Not that this is the case here, just in general! ;)

It is strange, as I use and have used on just about every AEG I have owned the Guarder clear hop and nub, with great success:).

Much better hop adjustment with it on all my AEGs to date, apart from the Magpul Masada!:(

Would you mind describing the mod you made to your tightbore?
I mentioned it on an earlier post, but I think you may have missed it amongst all the other comments!!:D

    Many thanks.

had the guarder clear in mine with the stock barrel with no problems just had to trim about 3mm off the front of the bucking.

the only problem i had with the guarder is when i fit a madbull tight bore the hop adjustment went to **** so i fit a madbull blue rubber instead with great results fixed hop problems hop became very sensitive

i also have the guarder installed with a tight bore in my m4 with no problems so it must be the nub in the Masada that's the problem imo

thanks guys for all the info..i think the folding stock is definitely on the cards :)
Had a guarder clear on my g&p m4 before and wasn't too impressed.
Found the madbull blue a lot better.

i got the adjustable stock and hate it so i switched back to my standard stock. i have the cqb barrel kit and it looks the dogs and great for room entrys well worth it over the adjustable stock. the thing is with the rubbers they are all dependent on with make of barrel your using. with the short barrel kit i have barrel i got wit the kit and a red madbull rubber and works sweet, the standard kit i have 363mm madbull tbb and blue madbull rubber and it also works sweet. i was too busy wit work so i got QAS lads to put in a few things into the gearbox for me. systema helical gears, systema magnum motor, 8mm bearings on all gears, g&p piston, triggermaster mosfet, and have to say its a bleedin animal. its cost me a fortune though .

the standard gearbox parts in the masada are absolute rubbish for wat you pay for the gun. if i could go back i would not have got one. :o

oh ye and the design for the hop up in the gun is crap ie the nub and adjustment dial.

Just got the extended stock off diablo and it's excellent.
Being left-handed is a bitch though as you can only put the sling mount on the left side of the gun instead of the right where I have it but it's worth it to have that extra length or folding when required.

Anyone know when the black version of the rail is coming out?

I've only seen DE versions on any of the sites ... but given that the vast majority of these that I've seen on site have been DE, maybe that's part of the reason why they don't appear to have released a black version yet. That said, the first review version that popped up on arnies was black with a black rail system - and this was a good 6 months before the DE rail set appeared.
Still - go tan for the win!

damn..mine is black so not sure if a tan would go with it...but then again :D
Not fond of handguards as well..much prefer a rail

    edit: out of stock :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,479 ✭✭✭✭Blazer

How was the delivery from ehobby, I was gonna order a few magpul things like rail ladders and that kind of stuff, delivery was 80 euro for an MVG, rail ladders, Magpul trigger guard and the Masada stock so i canceled my order.

that's a bit much..did you pick express or something?
I think they charged me $12 or something...
I've always found their delivery pretty reasonable.
