is this the same idea as the idea for saturday? ....or did I hallucinate that? Because I can't find it now. Call me confused.

Hi Aishae! I write very quickly, so we can have crazy rapid conversations. Or just text each other. I had a thing with a deaf person once and I used to be able to sign I Love You but I don't remember how. By "thing" I mean I was like 11. Aw.

haha even i dont do it exactly as the isl does it - i just point to me, then use my arms/wrists to cross an x over my heart (or sure, just the body in general) and then point to the other person. but its more or less what most sign languages seem to do.

when i meet up with a fellow deaf friend the two of us have a notebook each and basically we wend up with 2 separate conversations going on, on each notepad, at the same time. very time efficient!

this is the same one that zoe is arranging (possibly saturday) though i get the impression there might be a few of these things in the future

As a fluent ISL signer, later on down the line, if and when we meet, I can show those interested the correct way to sign sentences in ISL. (Here's a tip, relax. inhibitions can actually impede the process of ISL learning)

I think the idea of meeting up in a small group is brilliant. :) I'm 19 and have only came out as a lesbian officially last year. I'm a shy person at first and for that reason I can't get myself to go to a gay bar with loads of other people. A small group of people is perfect as it gives people a chance to get to know one another and not leave anyone out.

    Eh -

A Zoegh organised the tea thing last week
B There is a drinks being planned sometime

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Shortish blonde hair, blue eyes. Style wise: Casual mostly. :)

Cool, we can have a meetup of our own? ;P

I'm also blonde and blue eyed, we have so much in common already :P.
