Help with setting up LAN QuakeWorld server

Im setting up a small lan and want to run QW and i need to know the min. spec PC i can run as a server. I'v got an old 486 with 8mb ram which has just been sitting in a corner doing nothing. So if i got that running Win95 would it be good eneogh?

I have a 486 with 16 MB RAM I used to use as a server, but linux is the job, not Windows 95... Not sure it QW will work on 16 MB but I think that WQ might alright.
