I'm 28, and I feel like the past 10 years of my life have gone so quickly. It feels like yesterday when I drank my first legal pint. Now I'm bordering on the better side of 30. What happened?
Do you suffer black outs when you drink?

I do, why would that have anything to do with time going faster than normal?

Oh goodie another chance to spout my theory on this. :p

I think it has to do with metabolism, myself. As we get older, our metabolism slows. So what I think is that our perception of time changes as this happens. What got me thinking this was reading about how for hummingbirds, time seemed to pass more slowly; while for tortoises, it passes more quickly. Not sure if our metabolism changes all that much, but it is interesting to think about.

And then one day you find, ten years have got behind you. No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun.

This thread reminds me...I need to find a wife and make babies. :p

It's things like world cups that make you feel old, and that time has flown by. Saipan 2002 was 9 years ago.

Music does it too. Everything but the girl - missing. I find this song very nostalgic. I remember when it was out...back in 1994. That's 17, yes 17 years ago. That's nearly a whole teenager life right there.:(

Aha, that last line made me chuckle...
OMG, I'm chuckling now instead of laughing.

Keep on chuckling and laughing, it keeps you young at heart (much more important than just looking young) :D

I told my college students I saw Clueless in the cinema. Their response, "Wow" :o

+1 to struggling to remember what age you are. Was carded a few months ago (must have been blind :)). "What age are you?" "ehh ... 26 .. no, 27, ah no .. 28." "You sure??"

Sorry to hear it. You seem to have bounced back though. ;)

Do that ......and the years will go by even faster.
    Trust me.
Found husband, had babies.....then suddenly I'm vetting their boyfriends,taxi-ing them everywhere, juggling work with living...still young at heart but the date of birth on my passport scares the bejaysus out of me!
Still the same 24 hours per day as always has been- just busier.
    But happy:D
