    I LIKE HEARING ABOUT THEM

And i find the legalities of it quite interesting.

I'd like to understand it further actually , it doesn't sound a million miles away from lads outside the district courts paying hacks not to report on their drunk driving convictions in the local papers.

Maybe the player is Keane to keep this a secret from his wife and family.

The hints going around are that he is at a top club, which rules him out and that he is an ex international, probably could be a couple of other options but Giggs the one I thought of.

Do you not think these kind of stories are a bit ridiculous or that be too personal? Do you like hearing about them?

And telling the whole world before telling her really makes it that bit better.. Please.

Oh sorry, I forgot, the wife is probably on here

Of course they are ridiculous stories. I WAS CURIOUS AS TO WHY?? :)

They've enough money to throw at lawyers to get them injuctions

i imagine some are sick of the constant claims with no evidence to back them up affecting they're family life careers and sponsorships.

I think it just keeps the tabloids in check that they now need solid evidence before they can print anything

No dear, I was referring to the rags, not boards.ie :pac:

British judges, acting on their own accord and through injunctions, are redefining privacy for citizens in the public eye. Instances like this would go to court and get resolved in favor of one side or the other, but the judges are blocking the stories before they are published. These judges are essentially saying, “This soccer player may or may not have cheated, it’s irrelevant, but it’s of no concern to the public. It’s a private matter so it’s not newsworthy.”

'HEARTBROKEN Imogen Thomas told yesterday how she was cruelly betrayed by her married footballer lover - the latest superstar to hide his cheating in the courts. Her eyes red from crying, she said: "I can't work because of the fuss so I don't know how I'll pay the mortgage" - As reported by The Sunday Mirror.

'She was spotted near her London home yesterday weeping before holding her head in her hands and crumpling to the pavement. The agony showed as she made a phone call just hours before a meeting with publicist Max Clifford. Friends said former Miss Wales Imogen is now considering telling her story so she can move on with her life. Mr Clifford said she could earn £250,000 if she tells all and the footballer's identity is made public' - As reported by Monday's Daily Mirror.

How big is her fcukin' mortgage!?!
She can't work?! Why not?! Too sad? Good enough for ya, twat.
Sad? I don't care, you knew he was married.
Needs a quarter of a million to move on with her life? BOLLOCKS!!!
Presumably after she ruins his marraige (I know he's not toally innocent) she can find work again.
If she cares about him, why does she want to do this him?

    What a class A CNUT.

I would tell her get a job, other than riding footballers and trying to sell the story for money. She reeks of desperation.

She's a professional kiss n tell merchant and he's an idiot. You'd think that dalliances with the likes of Linsey Dawn Mckensie back in the 90s would have 'learned' him

well obv if it was him (!!!!)

Well he is a footballer! ;)

It is amazing that despite all the stories they still go on and do this, with a fair few gold diggers out there willing to spill the beans. I think she went out with Russel Brand at one stage, that would have had the alarm bells ringing for me!

she is actually free to tell anyone she wants, subject to the usual risks about slander etc

the injunction is against media outlets reporting what she says

She often flys to them on Ryanair doesn't she?

I havent seen it said that she broke the story, from what I can see the story was about to break, he got injunction, left her to take the abuse and now she is gonna get a little revenge by making some dosh outta it. Good on her.

He is the one who is married, he is the one who should be called the slapper.

I feel a little sorry for her.

His marital stutus is none of her concern. He's the one attached so it's him thats the tramp if anything.

Given half the world now knows, I've no doubt that Mrs. G now knows her husband has been carrying on. He's at the end of his career and his earning potential is done and dusted. Nothing to stop her divorcing him and getting a massive chunk of his wealth. He'll suffer plenty.

She knew he was married and got into it with him. Now she's trying to claim a sob story and claiming she can't work as she's heartbroken. There's no "good on her" about it.

And 'he' is a thick idiot.

But it's not 'his' subsequent actions that are going to ruin people's lives.

If you read any of my previous posts, I wasn't absolving him in any way.

So she's totally innocent in all this?! She knew from the get go what she was doing an how this was going to turn in out in her favour (money wise).

Why does she want to reveal it? These women are such twats.

Not defending the player for having an affair by the way, but obviously tramps like her (who knew he was married in the first place) just want publicity, because I assume she's talentless having resorted to Big Brother.

I just hope it's not Giggsy (as rumors are suggesting)! :(

Would be interesting to know the background truth. She claims that she would never have disclosed but that his seeking an injunction brought everything out into the open and he didn't have the decency to include her as a subject of or applicant for the injunction. Seems that the cheating **** will be undisclosed in order to protect the kids - probably a fair reason.

I like it when cheaters are outed as such, don't really care about the motives of the person doing the outing tbh.

Indeed they are..much like thier fans.

Football was only invented so men with nothing in common would have something to talk about.
