Why can premiership football players stop women going public about affairs?

    I don't get it at all.

    So now ex BB reality 'star' Imogen Thomas has been told she can't reveal which married premiership player she was having an affair with.

    Why can't she blab?

    'His' injunction is being contested in court this coming Wed so there could be a landmark ruling given all the attention these injunctions have been getting of late.

    Why does she want to reveal it? These women are such twats.

    Not defending the player for having an affair by the way, but obviously tramps like her (who knew he was married in the first place) just want publicity, because I assume she's talentless having resorted to Big Brother.

    I just hope it's not Giggsy (as rumors are suggesting)! :(

    I hate modern day "celebrity's". If you can even call them that. fools.
    So desperate for money that they would rather tell a rag and the world about the affair rather than the wife which is unfair to her.

    Why people actually give a **** about it I really dont know. But until people stop caring about nobody's this kinda stupid **** is going to be around for hundreds of years.

    Sad fcuks.

    It has to do with privacy. Some players lose these cases when they seem to be more interested in protecting their assets rather than their families. Some players are also involved with charities or brands and by throwing themselves in the limelight as a "role model" then it could be argued it is right to publish such allegations. But if a player just plays football and maintains a private personal life, he could argue it is an invasion of privacy.

    As she's the one who wants to make the accusations, I assume she has to be able to prove it. Otherwise, it's her word against his/theirs!!

    Well any slapper can go to the papers a pretend to have slept with someone famous to try get money out of them. I guess the injunction would be given out to the footy players and the likes until the slapper could prove they actually did sleep with them/have an affair?
