    Lads,

I'm an A3 rider and will be travelling around France in June and July and don't want to come back in mid july having lost my racing legs and be out of shape.

I'm touring around france and bringing the bike on the car with the family.I know I can train everyday but if I could get 3-4 races in or the one day touring events in whilst travelling around it would really keep me fairly sharp...so....

Does anyone know a web site with such info of races and tours as we have on irishcycling.com for french cyclists...

Also do i need an international license..bearing in mind I'm not looking for a A1/2 races!!

France is a very big country, if looking for races the best way to find info is by each region. No sure about you licence, you should check that with Cycling Ireland before you go. AFAIK the international licence is only if you are going to ride with a club abroad. It would also be a good idea to get a doctors cert to say you are healthy and fit to race as that will get you into many races or sportive. Most events do not have entry on the line but that is down to the organizers and will vary from area to area. The best advice would be to contact a club in the towns you are staying and they will have all the info. How's the French?

This race here would be open to 3rd cats, you would need to like racing up hill.
