Female sparrow with whitel spotting

    Not a great picture but this would appear to be a female sparrow with a little more white than she should have, is also down her back. Is this common enough and is it a sign of a young bird

    I had a leucistic House Sparrow last year in my Garden. They are not common nor are they uncommon. They will probably fall to predation quite quickly as they will be seen quite easily by predators.
