    Hi all,

I'm flying into Cork in June and dropping the car off at Dublin 4 days later to catch an early flight to the USA (8:45)

Without searching the sites (as I'm doing that anyhow) does anyone know of a car-hire company who offers a free out-of-hours drop-off?

I usually use sites such as carnova and carhire3000 to book but all are giving me companies such as Doolies and Sixt which can changes up to €35 extra because I'm dropping the car back before 8h00.

Cheers to anyone who can help.

Don't Hertz have a facility to park and drop the keys in a box at their desk in arrivals?

Most of them [any of the good car rental agencies] will have a box you can drop your keys off in.

When you leave your car back out of hours make sure to take time stamped photos of the car in it's parking space showing both sides, front and back. It wouldn't be unheard of for car hire companies to charge customers for damage to cars left back like this. Some guy parked next to you and knocked a lump out of your car, hire company will just charge your card with the insurance excess.
