i have been looking one of those all night fire grate, i have a back boiler in fireplace and would like to keep that as it gives great hot water supply. but when i have fire on and want to leave house for hour or two, fire is out when i return, but this unit which is a grate fret or fromt of grate and ashpan which is one unit, would hold fire for few hours longer and so saves fuel at same time, i wonder if any one can help me with lacating one, i do see them advertised in england, but would rather buy here and collect.

also inset boiler stoves are way ahead of the back boiler, 70% plus rather than 30% for open fire,, and door with controls and lots more heat for your fuel amount... would easily pay for them selves in long run,, no brainier in my opinion!!

Try again, i regularly get 16" and 18" grates for Grant backboilers, via any of the usual plumbing merchants
