No mistake. The pricing label board also said E3.43/kg. I am sure it is available everywhere as I scanned it through a self service till. You could not get a large size bag of crisps for E1.37!!

Thanks OP, just picked up 6 in Ashbourne .... along with a load of eggs

E1.37 is such on odd price I wonder did someone in Tesco HQ screw up and enter the price per unit that Tesco were buying the product from Cadbury's into the selling price column of whatever pricing management package Tesco use?

No it's not. It is exactly 75% off the normal price.

Like hell it is. I think it is usually priced around the E4-5 mark.

Sorry mea culpa. I thought he meant €1.37 was 75% of the normal price i.e circa €2.

No. I said around the €4-5 mark. I took up what the poster said incorrectly.

Point is not to just go around looking for labels telling you something is a bargain. I see loads of people do this, blindly filling trolleys with "non offers" just because a sign claims it is cheap. Some of the best deals in tesco are not advertised. Just the other day I noticed some plain tesco biscuits for something like 16cent, they were not value ones, maybe shortcake, there was no offer sign but the prices were way out of line compared to similar tesco biscuits around them.

It is showing until 24th online for me too
Special OfferSAVE 75% valid from 11/4/2011 until 24/4/2011

Tesco Chocolate Log is also on BOGOF at 2 for €2, so €1 each ..... :pac: :pac:

Thanks for this picked up 3 in Maynooth, there was none on the regular shelf in the chocolate section section so I went over to the card section and there was some left there :D

No 400g roses in Mahon point:( They did have 75% off other boxes of chocolates though, including thorntons. (at the back of store near the bakery section) And they had nets of own brand heart shaped choccies for 37c (100g) I got 3 of them.
No sign of any reduced biccies either except the ones I had previously posted about (the tesco finest quadruple chocolate chip cookies for 87c and tesco finest ginger stem for 44c)

My local got in fresh stock last night and grabbed 7 boxes.
I'm so going to turn into a rose.

Mahon Point got some more in today. Got 2 boxes, was tempted to get more but am supposed to be on a diet:o Also got the shortcake biccies for 15c - 2 packs of them too.
I actually went in to get the mug easter eggs (heard on the radio this morning - buy 1 get 2 free...marty() said they worked out as 2 something per egg)(can someone else confirm if they heard this ad or am I imagining things) No such offer:(

No Roses in Artane Castle that I could find. Boo hoo! But picked up loads of figrolls and a pack of shortcake biccies.

Lindtee, didn't see that offer in my local Tesco. I wasn't paying too much attention to eggs though.

No Roses in Tesco Wilton today or Paul Street a few days ago. I know that's a good thing but still :( Didn't see any 3 for 1 offer on Easter mugs there either, lindtee.

Wilton did have the 15c biscuits, 9 Penguin bars for 77c, and BOGOF on Double Chocolate Choccie Dodgers, €1.39 for the two packs

Why are all the best Tesco offers on sweets and chocolate?!

I happened upon this offer in Athlone this morning. Buy 1 get 2 free on Cadbury Mug Eggs (or whatever they're called) - so it was €8.49 for three of them.

They had Creme Eggs, Kit Kat, Mint Aero and a few others. I went in with a basket and came out with a trolley.

I was in Artane Castle last night, got a few in Maynooth but said id pick up some for a woman in work, there was none on the shelves but when I asked one of the guys who works there he asked how many I wanted and arrived out from the stock room with 3 of them for me.

Is it my imagination or is Tesco trying to hide this offer? I was in another Tesco on my way home from work this eve and although they did have them there was no price tag on the shelf. I was tempted to pick up more but it would solely be because they are so cheap and I will regret it...I can never stop with roses...LOL.

    NOM!

Promotion was initially set up to clear old Xmas stock expiry April 11 which was delivered to stores last November. Obviously this is still working on new stock with an expiry October 11. Most stores are selling out daily and staff are getting them first. I feel Tesco will pull this deal soon.
