Protocal for selling a bike?

    Im selling my bike. I posted an ad this morning and have someone coming tommorow to look at it. Ive never sold one before. Im sure the person will want to try it out first.

    Do I take a deposit while they have a spin or just hope that they come back and dont cycle off with my bike?

    Take a deposit, make sure the Bike is 100% because people search and search and search for something wrong so they can offer you half the asking price:rolleyes:

    There are some buyers that want to give you nothing and will give you silly offers, adverts.ie is a bad place for jokers.

    Dont undersell yourself :)
