Cost of rented accommodation in Paris?

Can anybody point me in the direction of a letting agency for apartments. I can get a job about 15 miles north of central Paris, for 5 to 6 months. I just need to figure out the approx accomodation cost, and indeed how to go about finding a budget apartment / house share etc,. Really appreciate any help I can get on this!

http://www.appartager.com/ is good for finding an apartment. AFAIK, there's a small sign-up cost, but it acts as a good barrier for people trying to flog a crap apartment. Depending on where you are, naturally, you'd probably pay 500€ - 800€ a month.

I have used a crowd call "PSR - your home in Paris" in the past, and found their service to be top notch.
Try a search for them.

Actually, scratch that suggestion, they seem to have gone bust.
