Connecting a Numark m6 to a laptop

Recently was given a numark m6 usb mixer by a friend whose moving over seas, just wondering whats the best way to connect it to a laptop? At the moment im thinking an external soundcard possibly the Numark stereo IO soundcard http://www.djstore.com/item/soundcards/numstereoio.htm I hoping it wil allow me to have tow songs…

I hoping it wil allow me to have tow songs in virtual dj across two channels of the mixer.

will it work, or is there a better solution

That mixer already has a sound card in it. You just plug it into the laptop and you should be good to go.
