    Is there a list anywhere of the people with the highest amounts of trophies collected?

    There are sites out there with those details.
    But they can only collect details of someone who registers and then syncs their trophies.
    There could be some kid out there with 200 plats but no internet connection to verify it.
    For that reason, those trophy list sites are pointless imo.

    playfire.com used to have a leaderboard both globaly and countrywise.

    Dont know if they still do it.

    I try to Platinum every game I have, but I only play games I like. I would not buy a game just for trophies.

    His name is Hakoom hes a bloke from Bahrain......hes got 237 platinum trophies but turns out he hacked games to get trophies and was using groups of people to play when he wasnt to get more trophies so he took his name off the leaderboards so now some other bloke from called duck360 is world number one.....kind of a pointless thing to be number one in the world in but sure **** it! Il have a social life over playstation trophies any day!!! haha

    Also the best in Ireland PSN: liverpo
    Chap has over 100 platinum trophies

    He'll love hearing that, think i hear him turning on his computer to reply :D, and just to correct you he has exactly 100 but is working hard on 101 ( bad company 2, i see you liverpo :D )

    If I think it looks easy to platinum, I'll try (usually give up though). Almost have Brotherhood in the bag, damn that level 50 trophy!!!

    1 or 2 only, he knew how to crack them but the rest of them are legit. He has easy plats ( disney crap ) and very difficult plats ( demons souls ). I consider him mighty to have over 5000 trophies, you can see how many i have and i had more trophies than him this time last year.

    As far as platting games, I plat games which i enjoy, i had bought the new need for speed with full intentions of doing so but couldnt bring myself to play hours of that crap ( traded in for €45 :D).

    I enjoy trophy hunting. I wouldnt go out of my way to get them but some trophies add replay value which i like. Usually ill pop a disc in the ps3 and look at its trophies before i start playing the game. Just so i dont miss any silly ones
