play shools/monessori/creches fees

Dear parents, what do you think of fees in playschools/montessori/creche? Are they hight? And how do you cope with the prices? Did they become any flexible during the recession?

I want to place my 2 years old child in one and find that prices are far too high for these times.

What are your opinions on that? I mean was it is this way before recession? Or was it more expensive and not as flexible?
