    What's happening with this?, taking a while, hope it's worth it in the end, is every county covered?.
    People should get a move on with this, if any county cannot be done by anybody for whatever reason I'd probably take it on and bring my real camera for the spin.

    The original plan for the project was 1 camera, 32 county, 32 photos, 32 photographers.

    I think we should try to keep to that.

    There should be more than enough people on boards.ie to do this.

    We just need to get the momentem going again - it was lost over the winter, which is not unexpected.

    But I think if people start doing more than 1 county, then it'll not be the same, at least in my opinion.

    Of course if you want to cheat, There is a bridge In balbriggan called 5 county bridge. Obviously on a clear day you are meant to be able to see 5 counties from it.

    Purely for efficiency....

    agree with the above but at the current rate, it would be better to have all counties covered if it means a few people do multiple counties rather than not have it finished at all....

    Sorry, maybe I didn't express myself correctly.

    But I was just enquiring how it was going, I've been reading this thread for a while, and posted once in it, I understand the concept/conditions and how the OP brought it up as it was tried before and never actually got finished, then to my amazement the OP had his turn and went missing for a while then got back on here saying "oh I think there's a parcel up home" or something to that effect, which was a bit funnily ironic.

    I wasn't on any first or back-up lists, I began reading when it was well underway, but what I meant was that if there were any county in Ireland that hasn't got a first or back-up to do it I'd probably do it, I'm in Dublin, but have car and like seeing other places.

    So I was suggesting that rather than a county not being able to be done I'd "probably" travel there and take one pic with the 32 county camera, and while I'm there make the most of it by bringing my own camera equipment along and seeing what I can find, then promptly pass it on.

    But I understand there are plenty of people willing to get involved and simply can't.

    What made me say that was that I didn't see anybody for fermanagh, although I may have overlooked something.

    But just look at the last few posts, if that keeps up it will be lost down the back of a sofa, or the dog ate it, or whatever, and up to date how many counties have been done and how many remain?

    But wasn't trying to butt in, if thats how it seemed.

    I drive for a living, I could easily take 5 counties off that list next week, kilkenny, laois, offaly, roscommon and possibly westmeath.

    That's a fair point, but for somepeople to hold on to the camera for months on end is a bit much.

    If you are not ready to take the photo then don't ask for it, let someone who is ready for it have if first, try to keep the project moving, to keep interest.

    Maybe a digital version of this would help to fill the gap while waiting for this to complete ie 32 people take a digital photo.

    Problem with that is, you have to pick a certain kind of memory card eg. CF or SD, and a lot of camera's only take one or the other.
