Question about replacing Mazda 6 tail light

I'm having trouble removing the tail light in order to replace a bulb in an 04 Mazda 6. The car manual has been no help and after an online search I found a walkthrough which said that just two nuts had to be removed. These are circled here in red. None of this was a problem and the tail light is loose, however, there's a third screw (circled in yellow) holding the tail light in place. There's no mention of this screw in either the walkthrough or the manual. This third screw can't be unscrewed, the wrong end is facing inwards and there's no other way a accessing it from the outside. It also has a little four prong plastic thing around it. I'm afraid to just pull at the tail light in case I break it but I can't work out what to do now. Can anyone help?

Are you sure you need to take off the light assembly just to replace the bulb? The bulb assembly should be accessible from the boot without having to remove the whole thing!

Cheers Absurdum. You're right, you don't need to take off the whole light assembly. I realised this after I got it off. I didn't realise that the brake and tail light were the same bulb. I couldn't understand why I could only access the one bulb. Basically, I'm an idiot.
